Smith Creek Trash Fish Giveaway

While at IFTD this past year I spent some time talking with Wayne Smith of Smith Creek.  This New Zealand company doesn't offer a lot of products but the ones that they do are well thought out and extremely well made.  The Trash Fish is a particularly interesting idea and one that can make for cleaner streams and stillwaters when used by anglers to keep track of their discarded tippet and leader material.

How do you use the Trash Fish?  The diagram below walks you through it step by step.  Genius idea.

WEEKEND GIVEAWAY
Smith Creek has generously sent a half dozen Trash Fish for this weekend giveaway.

Here's the rules on how to play...

1.  "Protect Your Water" - Send an email to tfmcontests@gmail.com and tell me what local waterway that you spend time on that needs some special attention and why.  This could range from picking up trash to better water quality standards to invasive species to overfishing to whatever the issues might be.
2. Submissions for this weekend giveaway will be taken until Sunday, March 31st, 2013 at midnight.
3.  One submission per email address.  Duplicate emails will be erased.
4.  Monday morning the random number generator will pick six winners who will be contacted by email that they have won.  Winners will also be announced at the bottom of this post.
