I guess it is good timing that I highlighted Ijuin-Rod with a T.F.M. post the other day and then Shane Gray of Graywolf Rods put the finishing touches on a Yomogi 7033 build soon after.
This is Shane's first build on one of these unique Japanese fiberglass blanks and I think it came out quite nice. It is amazing how the green of the agate on this seven foot three weight matches the rod tube exactly.
Shane describes this taper as a "full flex parabolic that will bend damn near into the reel seat." which sounds like a lot of fun to me. Slow down your casting stroke and enjoy.
