You may be familiar with JP Ross as a fiberglass fly rod builder, but he is also the organizer behind the upcoming Trout Power event on held West Canada Creek in New York in early June.
One of the main focuses of this year's Trout Power is to find evidence of wild producing trout in the tributaries and there is a $600 prize for the smallest (non-hatchery) trout caught on the day of the event along with several other cash prizes.
This year's event will be held on June 7th, 2014 with a start at 5:30 a.m. and ending at 2 p.m. The awards ceremony will be held at 3:30 p.m.
