It has been many months in the planning and making but the Fine Tackle built Swift Fly Fishing Epic 580, which was chronicled in the "Inside The Process" series of posts on T.F.M., ultimately ended up in the hands of Yvon Chouinard of Patagonia.
The Epic 580 blank was the perfect medium for Christian Hörgren's clean rod building style and there might not be anyone who would appreciate it more than Yvon Chouinard. Less is more, right?
