WNC Expo + Iron Fly = This Weekend

I know it's the holidays but if you don't have weekend plans yet, and anywhere near Asheville, carve out some time for the upcoming WNC Fly Fishing Expo on Friday afternoon and all day Saturday at the WNC Agricultural Center.

This year's show should be a good one with a long list of featured speakers and exhibitors worth checking out.   A lot of work goes into the planning of this show and it keeps getting better each year.

I will be giving presentations on both days (Friday at 4 p.m. and Saturday at 12:30 p.m.) on "The Reinvention of Fiberglass Fly Rods" and will have a mess of demo glass rods to cast with me as well.  If there is a demo that you would like me to bring along for sure, please email.

After the WNC Expo on Saturday, plan to bring to vise along to the new Oskar Blues Brewery in Brevard for the Pig Farm Ink Iron Fly event which starts at 6 p.m. and will last until everyone gets kicked out.

More information check out the  WNC Fly Fishing Expo and the Pig Farm Ink websites.
