KABUTO RODS - From Blank Factory to the Rod Shop

Over the last month Yasuyuki Kabuto of Kabuto Rods has posted a series of images on Facebook which show an inside look on the how his blanks are rolled and then the process from inside his shop which highlights the handiwork creation of his fly rods.

A search on The Fiberglass Manifesto for "Kabuto Rods" will reveal page after page of over 100 posts highlighting the work of Kab, a long list of custom fly rod builders and these excellent fly rods in anglers hands all over the world.  These are still some of the finest "trout weight" fiberglass fly rod blanks being made today.

As always, I really enjoy showing you where and how things are made and this mash up of images from the factory and his shop reveal the work done to create these blanks and finished fly rods.

For those interested in a Kabuto Rods blank, Kab is taking orders with June delivery.  Please send an email to inquire at kab@kabutorods.com.

Follow the latest shop news and announcements on Facebook and Instagram.
