Bluegill In The Sky

A couple weekends ago the children and I spent a couple hours paddling around the family pond in our Native Ultimate and I brought along an Eagle Claw Featherlight strung up with a little foam bug just in case I had a chance to cast a line between our picnic, swimming, and the exploring that we did. 

While the children ate their lunch and played I ended up catching a few bluegills on top.  This photo stood out since the reflection makes it appears as if this bluegill is coming right out of the sky.

Here's to the weekend, cheap yellow fly rods, foam bugs, and of course the ever endeared bluegill.  Cheers...
