Brian Ebert of Lilly Pond Rod Company has been hard at work lately on a couple builds lately which I thought were more than worthy of a mention on T.F.M.
This build is a 7'8" three piece four weight and built on an early 1990's Lamiglas blank. I especially like the use of the Pearsalls orange and black twist thread with the black tipping. Classy.
The second build is a 7'3" three piece four weight James Green blank which is interesting since I hadn't heard before that he was rolling black E-Glass blanks. Brian says in casting this one that it really sings with a four weight forward fly line to forty feet and beyond.
