ORVIS - Fly Fishing Guide Podcast with Cameron Mortenson

Last week I was able to take a few minutes between projects at work to speak with Tom Rosenbauer on the Orvis Fly Fishing Guide Podcast.  Our forty-five minute talk covered a lot of bases but the theme was certainly all things fiberglass fly rods.  Tom is always easy to talk with and before I knew it, the show was over.

I've been really fortunate to have a longstanding relationship with Orvis, to include friendships with quite a few people that work there and over the years have been able to see behind the curtain as the Superfine Glass fly rods went from "Should we do it?" to "WOW, the response is unbelievable." to "Let's add a few more fly rods to the line up."

It's no secret that I am a big fan of the Superfine Glass fly rods and the entire series hits a real soft spot for me in each model has a taper that is dialed in, the looks tip a cap to the past while having their own personality and lastly, these fly rods are reasonably priced while being "Made in Vermont" start to finish.

If you haven't already subscribed to this podcast, what are you waiting for?  Give this episode a listen and let me know if you have any questions with an email.

You can find the Orvis Fly Fishing Guide Podcast on their website but also through iTunes and RSS Feed.
