An quick iPhone snap found it's way into my email inbox of Tom Rosenbauer of Orvis repping a T.F.M. Comrade decal in his office space. How cool is that? It doesn't look like Tom is a neat freak though...
I've mentioned it a couple times that we're seeing a "new" Orvis that is getting away from the tweed and has some interesting gear and ideas in the mix now and moving into 2013.
Add Orvis Fly Fishing News to your daily reads and for the podcast types Tom's Orvis Fly Fishing Guide Podcast (it also can be found in iTunes as well) is very much worth a listen with scores of episodes to catch up on.

That's awesome, Cameron.
I think Tom is super cool and he is a great spokesman for Orvis. I agree the company seems to be moving things in a good direction.
Well you know about my love affair with Orvis reels, but does this mean I have to quit wearing my tweed coat?
Congrats man that is very cool .
Brent...I agree.
Howard...we'll grandfather you in. Keep the tweed.
J&M Flies...thanks. I'm always surprised to see where TFM decals and t-shirts end up.
Tweed with a shirt and tie. Howard is one sharp dressed angler!
I doubt if there is a single person in Orvis Rod & Tackle that owns a tweed coat. Maybe Dave Perkins does. The rest of us would have to rent one.
Pam...Howard is a man of fashion.
Tom...thanks for checking in.
Tom, I'll bet Dickie Davis wouldn't be caught dead in tweed, rented or otherwise. Johnson Wool all the way.
I'll be making my annual visit to Orvis this weekend. Hope it hasn't change too drastically.
