With IFTD just over a month away the fly fishing industry is starting to leak out information on new products for the coming year.
Yesterday Redington sent out a media release on a new glass fly rod series they have dubbed the "Butter Stick".
The Butter Stick will be available in six lengths and line weights and Redington explains the new series as...
"The buttery smooth, classic action rods in this family harken to simpler, more carefree times and help put good old-fashion fun back into fly fishing."
The Butter Stick series fly rods will be available this coming August and they will retail for $249.95. Each of these fly rods will include a lifetime warranty, cloth rod sock, and cordura rod tube.
I have received a 6' three weight Butter Stick demo to play with for the next couple weeks. Look for a follow up review soon on T.F.M.
