VEDAVOO "Comrade Edition" Daypack

This past winter I kept running into Scott Hunter of VEDAVOO on the Fly Fishing Show circuit and I came around over and over to check out the new Daypack which he had hung at his booth.  Before the Pleasanton show ended I ordered the Daypack in a mix of Woodland Camo and Black Cordura nad Scott had a Comrade patch around from a past project that we worked on together that he said he'd stitch on too.

As the Daypack was coming together, Scott snapped a few photos from the workshop to share in this post.  I always think it's cool to see how things are made and figure that the T.F.M. readership does as well.

The Daypack is simple in design with a large main area and then an outside pocket on the front side.  The Daypack also has a zippered pocket on the bottom of the pack that great for tucking a few essentials as well.  The Daypack features VEDAVOO's new harness system which gives you a very stable fit and the pack does move or shift like other packs I've worn.  The 1000D Codura fabric is extremely durable and this pack begs to be beat up.

So far the Daypack has been used on a couple plane trips as a carry on and then a few road trips stuffed full of fly fishing gear and clothing.  I can't imagine this pack every wearing out.

Check out the VEDAVOO website for more information on the rock solid packs and other gear that Scott and his select group of sewers build one at a time custom for every order that comes in.
