6 Cool Things To Read

It's the last day at IFTD and it's been a great show.  I am however looking forward to getting home early tomorrow and spending the rest of the weekend home with the family.

Here's six favorite online articles (plus links to a few more) to enjoy.  I'll be back online in a couple days.

20ACRECARCASS - NEW ART AND TRIPS
Jake Keeler gives everyone an update on where he's been and where he's going.  The new carp artwork in so rad.  I'm hoping that Jake offers prints when it's finished.

FLY TALK - #KEEPEMWET
It's good to see another reminder in the mix about responsible catch and release handling of fish.  If you have some extra time then give his other recent article on woman in fly fishing a read as well.

MIKE'S GONE FISHIN' ON BEAVER ISLAND
Mr. Sepelak was one of the attendees on the recent trip to Beaver Island and he broke down the trip with some excellent photographs and narrative.

While you're there check out his second Beaver Island piece dubbed "Windward".

STALKING THE SEAM ON TRIP MEALS
Planning for multi-day trips when you're living out of the car, camper, or boat takes some skill.  Using large ziplock bags for freezing soups (and other meals) is money.

Also take some time to check out their past article on packing your cooler.  Great info and you'll get your money's worth out of your premium cooler when packed correctly.

THE BOREALIST - ALL WE NEED, INDEED
Peetso doesn't share a lot but when he does it's always worthy.  Those grayling fins...

Oh yeah...and enjoy the Pickled Pike post as well.  I want to try this at some point.

TROUTS FLY FISHING ON BEAVER ISLAND
I know, more Beaver Island talk but shop dude and guide Kyle Wilkinson from Trouts Fly Fishing was along on the recent trip as well and has some really excellent thoughts on carp, carping around Beaver Island, and some great images to check out as well.

Enjoy.  Have a great weekend.
