6 Good Reads

It's Sunday morning.  Did you remember it's Mother's Day?  In your few minutes of weekend downtime, enjoy this six pack of favorite online articles.

FLY ROD & REEL - THE KARCZNSKI ESSENTIALS
Dave Karcznski gets to travel a fair bit and his travel essentials are worth a read through for your own kit.  I'm adding a couple to my list on trips coming up.

BOW TIMES - #SOUTHERNDRIFT
Hopefully you saw the Native Sons post from a week ago and here's Jeff's take on the same afternoon.  He's pretty good with the camera and the words.  I would bet that you'll see us working together on a few things in the future.

THE HOPPER JUAN - HE DOES MORE THAN HOPPERS, BRO...
If you thought Juan Ramirez just tied hoppers than you haven't been following along very well.  He does that and A LOT more.  His Slim Shady Baetis Nymph compared side by side with the naturals is impressive.

SCIENTIFIC ANGLERS - CURRIER ON KEEPING IT TACTFUL
As someone that writes a blog and keeps the fires burning on several (Does LinkedIn count?  HA...) social media channels, there is sometimes a very fine line on what's good and what's bad regarding self promotion.  Jeff Currier lays out a lot of knowledge in this article.

FLYMEN FISHING COMPANY - THE FUTURE IS WITH KIDS
If fly fishing and conservation are going to do things in the future, then we all have to get the next generation involved.  Thanks Flymen for the mention in this article.

ADEQUATE MAN - RADIOHEAD FANS TAKE NOTE
There is a new Radiohead album going live and this article is a good primer on not being annoying about it.  P.S.  The first two songs I've heard are pretty stellar.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend and remember to give mom a hug and a kiss.
