G.R. MORGAN OUTDOORS - Fish Camp On The Soque

Who doesn't like the idea of "Fish Camp"?  Well, Guide Greg Morgan of G.R. Morgan Outdoors is now offering overnight camping trips with access to the Soque River that you may want to consider for big fish, campfire, good food, and an experience you won't soon forget.

Greg wrote...  "This is not a "Luxury" camping experience.  This is "Fish Camp"!  We are offering a chance to enjoy the North Georgia night, time with good friends, a campfire to tell fishing lies around, and a great day of fly fishing.

Includes camping directly next to 1+ miles of private access managed water of the Soque River where trophy rainbow, brown and palomino trout will be hooked and possibly netted. The water is easily waded though wading staffs are provided at no additional cost.

Arrival Time is approximately 5:00 p.m. the night before.  Tents, camp chairs, tables, and coolers with ice are provided.  All you'll need to  bring is bedding and personal items.  Top Quality Waders, Boots, and Rods available for rent at an additional charge.

A Dry Land Casting Challenge Course to enjoy the night before

As far as the fly fishing, few people have access to this water.  It is off the grid and there are monsters on this water that will freight train you and test your drag.  Six weight fly rods and above are a must.

A day of fishing consists of a Morning Session from approx 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. and an Afternoon Session which runs from 1:00 p.m. and finishes at 5:00 p.m. with a streamside lunch provided.

The cost for "Fish Camp On The Soque" is $275.00 per person with a minimum of four guests and a maximum of six guests.

Maximum guests to guide ratio is three guests to one guide.

All questions may be forwarded to Greg Morgan at morganflyfishing@gmail.com."
