Artist Ed Anderson recently shared his latest Journal entry in an email along with an image of a original dubbed "Marsh Red" that was auctioned off last month at the Texas Coastal Conservation Association Chapter banquet which is now available as a print.
This journal story came from his recent trip to the Louisiana marsh chasing redfish with Captain Greg Moon and shooting ducks with Taylor Nunez. All the while staying on converted Coast Guard buoy cutter called the Dogwood which certainly sounds like a great way to spend a few days.
Ed's Journals are a neat insight to his travels and are worth a few minutes to check out those posted on his website. For those unfamiliar with his work, his big bright gestural paintings are derived from his journals.
