Even with all your online friends getting way too political on Facebook lately, it's still good for something and the license plate artwork of Cody Richardson of Cody's Custom Creations caught my eye recently. Cody collects license plates from all over the world and then designs fish (or other) shapes turning them into artwork.
I asked Cody if he'd mind sharing a few favorite pieces for a T.F.M. post and he sent along a few favorites highlighting states and fish throughout the United States and beyond.
Cody wrote... "Leaving a fire fighting career, I switched gears to pursue a personal passion of fly fishing and artwork. Through creating personal designs in my home shop for friends and family, these artwork pieces caught on through local Colorado fly shops, and I now have custom pieces spanning multiple countries. The most rewarding aspect of my career now is coming up with new and intricate designs, to collaborate and commemorate with customer's passions and life events."
Want to see more? Visit the Cody's Custom Creations website and consider having a special fish or place memorialized with a piece of original license plate art.
