Even if you're just casually check in on The Fiberglass Manifesto, you know that I have a real soft spot for small shop artisans. This includes rod builders, reel makers, gear makers (the list goes on) and of course fly tiers. On my short list of favorites behind the vise is Matt Bennett of Fly Geek Custom Flies and he's kicking off October with his latest good idea, "The Lunch Box".
"The Lunch Box" is a monthly fly box subscription service where (unlike other services of this type where flies are sourced out of country) Matt will be the one tying up a selection of flies that will be centered around a theme. To kick things off, the October box will be "Fall Streamers" and the monthly cost to be in on this program will be $35.
