We're just a few days into 2020 and artist John Piacquadio has accepted a challenge to create a fish or fly related piece of art each day through the year. He is posted these studies on his Instagram page and each piece is for sale as well.
I get a kick out of this challenge since John, along with artists who have done #365fish, work with so many different art mediums over the course of the year and the body of work is always impressive.
Though John's already posted over a dozen pieces of art but I'm most connected to this one as my first trout was caught on a Royal Wulff just downstream from Burton's Landing on the Au Sable River in northern Michigan over 25 years ago.
