GRAYWOLF RODS - Trout Smith's "Essential Worker" Giveaway

UPDATE - The random number generator has chosen DEB WEATHERWAX and LANDON SAUER (they were nominated as a couple who work as a nurse and police officer) as the winners of this giveaway.  Thanks to all who sent submissions and played along.   Thanks also to each of the industry friends who supported this giveaway as well.

Last night my phone lit up with a text message from Shane Gray of Graywolf Rods asking me if I knew someone who has worked through the coronavirus pandemic and might deserve being gifted one of his Trout Smith's E-Glass Spinning Rods?  That started a back and forth which quickly went from wondering if I knew someone to let's make this a contest.  So, here we are with a giveaway created for those who are giving their all for others right now.

Here's the details on the Trout Smith's E-Glass 6'0" Ultralight two-piece spinning rod which is 2-6 pound test rated and for use of lure weights 1/16 to 1/4 ounce.  The clear un-sanded blank is matched with flor grade cork fore and aft grips with a custom made nickel silver reel seat.  The rod will come with rod bag and tube.  This giveaway is valued at $395.00.

This giveaway was designed for those who have put others before their own health to include healthcare, first responders, mail and delivery drivers, food service, trucking, grocer and the list goes on and on.

To nominate someone or to send an entry for yourself, send an email to tfmcontests@gmail.com and tell your coronavirus pandemic story.   No word counts, it doesn't have to be a "hero's tale" but if you have a story, we want to hear it.  There is a lot of sung and unsung work going on right now and this is Shane's way of saying "Thank you".

Submissions will be taken by email now through Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at midnight and a winner will be chosen on Thursday, May 21, 2020.

Only submissions from those living in the United States will be considered as there are restrictions on parcel length to some countries and this is a two-piece rod.

When this is all over, wouldn't a some leisure time tossing a glass spinning rod on your local pond or stream make the day?

If you have any questions please let me know by email but remember to send all giveaway submissions to the contest email address above.  You will receive an auto-response email back with your nomination.
