LEIDERMAN RODS - A Summer of Builds

I've mentioned it before that Matt Leiderman of Leiderman Rods is first a full-time school teacher and in his off-time and summer, he ramps up the fiberglass fly rod builds that he's able to finish at the home shop.

Matt's work is top-notch in every way and these photographs of six recent builds from over this summer are great examples of what makes a Leiderman Rods build special.  The care and one-of-a-kind craftsmanship of every build are impressive.

The blanks used in this builds include Livingston Rod Co., McFarland Rod Company, and then several Steffen Brothers Fly Rods as well.

Interested in a Leiderman Rods of your own?  Now is the time to get on Matt's list.  Follow him on Facebook and Instagram for the latest builds and shop news.

I've seen Matt's work over maybe 2 decades (!) and watched as his art and technique progressed. He makes many of the fittings in his shop, and his 'bling' is very tasteful. I just got one of his 7'3" #3/4 3p on a Steffen blank and there will be more Leidermans for my racks.

Unknown... No one builds a better Steffen blank fly rod than Leiderman. You did well and that 3/4 weight is a sweet taper.
