MIGHTY WATERS

As Black History Month ends today, I wanted to make sure that I shared Mighty Waters as Simms, Costa, and the American Fly Fishing Museum launched the full length version of this Cold Water Collaborative film earlier this month.

 

Mighty Waters tells the story of famed bonefish guide Ansil Saunders of Bimini, his fight for civil rights justice on the island, and his time spent to Martin Luther King Jr. just days before his assassination.

This film premiered at the 2021 Fly Fishing Film Tour and in my opinion, sets the mark for storytelling that other filmmakers should try to reach.
