Artist, fly tier, writer, and famed angler Dave Whitlock has kicked off a new website and is giving away a special print where all you have to do is share your email address. The Dream Take Giveaway ends on September 20th so you still have a few days to play.
I've said it before but the best part of several of the fly fishing shows that I've been to over the years is hanging out near the Dave Whitlock booth and watch the artist at work as he autographs books and prints, taking a few minutes with each customer creating a special and unforgettable moment.
If you don't have a Dave Whitlock print in your collection, make sure you find him at your local fly fishing show. It's worth it.

Here's a trip down memory lane to a couple past T.F.M. posts where I chronicled Dave Whitlock signing a fellow's book complete with a bass sketch (the guy was absolutely blown away and trembling afterwards) and then the few minutes that I had with him while he autographed the carp and smallmouth print that is framed in my office now.
