EPIC FLY RODS - Building a Fly Rod - Part 1

Well, we all made it through Christmas and the New Year is right around the corner.  Maybe you're looking for a winter project to keep you busy over the next couple of months and if you've ever thought about building your own fly rod, this series of videos from Epic Fly Rods is a good place to start.   

 

 

I'll share these videos over the next few days and check out the Build Your Own Fly Rod Kit options on the Epic Fly Rods website.  There are eight fiberglass fly rod options to choose from that range from the Epic 370 to the Epic Boca Grande and another eight graphite and two-hander options as well.

This video series chronicles a graphite build but the process for fiberglass is exactly the same.
