Do you know who typically has less fly rods in their own personal stash than you'd ever expect? Fly rod builders. No joke. So when Sandy Nelson of Sandy's Custom Fly Rods sent me a message on Instagram of his gift to himself for Christmas, I figured it was certainly deserving of a share.

What a beautiful rod, you can't go wrong with Dusty's Western Glass. I have a 8'6" 4wt and it is such a dry fly fishing machine.
