For a number of years now, the Native Fish Coalition has organized a raffle with Epic Fly Rods to support their wild native fish conservation initiatives which now extends to 19 chapters throughout the East, Southeast, and moving into the Midwest. This organization has been impressive growth and checking out the chapter pages state by state is a great insight into the work being done focused on all sorts of native fish species.
As in raffles past, there are only 100 tickets available for this raffle and the fly rod being given away is an custom built in New Zealand Epic 476, which is valued at $1,200. This continues to be one of my favorite progressive tapered 4-weight fly rods. Easy to travel with and super capable to handle anything that you'd expect a 4-weight to do.
