The other day Skwala posted something on their Instagram that immediately took me back to my last trip to Montana a couple of falls ago. I just remember during that entire trip that trees along the rivers were washed in saturated shades of yellow everywhere.
I figured that I'd re-share a few of the fishing links that began at Nelson's Spring Creek with Tom and Alexis of 406 Fly Lines, followed by a few river days with a couple of buddies hanging with Joel and Deb Thompson of Montana Troutaholic Outfitters in Missoula.
Maybe the fishing wasn't as good as we hoped for but the fun times far outweighed the trout in the net.
