Tie-One-On-Athon - The Wrap Up

The 3rd annual S.C.O.F. Tie-One-On-Athon was this past Sunday afternoon and in all regards was a complete success.  This event benefits Project Healing Waters and though the final numbers haven't come in they guessed that donations were twice, if not three times that of years past.

The day was filled with many flies coming off the multitude of vises in the house, a few beers from Green Man Brewing being drank, and tasty eats from Dough.  The S.C.O.F. boys know how to throw a party and it was stellar to be involved with this event again this year.

I spent the day going tier by tier, taking a few photos, and catching up with friends.  It was a good time.

Thanks to all those that came out and tied a few flies and helped make this event a success again this year.  Special thanks also to a very long list of fly fishing companies that donated gear for the silent auctions and door prizes.  Many attendees went home with prize.

Check out these links for more photos and thoughts from the event.

SOUTHERN CULTURE ON THE FLY

Don't think that this Southern Culture On The Fly event is all grown up.  There were still some hijinks going on in the background along with a few jars of moonshine being passed around.

Another year and it just keeps getting better.
