Looking back over the course of this year, I would guess that Finn Utility has been on my radar for the past six months or so and it's been interesting to follow this small but growing company, which is lead by Ryan McDonald, as he works out designs and builds beautiful classic handcrafted fly fishing gear items from his shop in Richmond, Vermont.
I was immediately impressed with the style of the Finn Utility gear items and it's also neat to see someone offering pieces that are made of sturdy materials such as waxed cotton, treated duck cotton canvas, brass hardware, natural sheep shearling, and English bridle leather.
No doubt these items will be passed on to another generation or three and will certainly gain character along the way as the fabrics and materials wear and age.
THE GIVEAWAY:
