Jenkins Fly Rods - Lamiglas Glass Rods

Recently Jenkins Fly Rods have begun offering a new series of fiberglass fly rods which are built on the classic Lamiglas yellow glass blanks.  There are four fly rods offered in this series from a three weight to a five weight and these fly rods have a full flex profile which is best suited for dry flies and small to medium sized stream work.

From the Jenkins Fly Rods website...

Keeping with our philosophy that simplicity is its  own form of beauty, these rods are decaled with Jenkins and the model designation then inscribed with the serial number at the ferrule stations.  These two-piece rods are crafted using the following components:
  • Lamiglas, E-Glass, honey colored blanks with tip-over-butt ferrules
  • 6" or 6 1/2" full-wells grip
  • Black anodized cap and ring reel seat or black anodized IU (Internal Up-locking) reel seat with cross-cut bamboo spacer
  • Black chrome guides and tip top
  • Black anodized grip check
  • Wraps are a translucent pale yellow color
The rod includes a cloth bag and black Cordura rod tube.

The Lamiglass Fly Rod builds are priced at $320.00 each.
