Winter has taken hold in Pennsylvania which has given Matt Leiderman of Leiderman Rods some time to tidy up the shop and finish a few fiberglass fly rod builds before the year soon ends.
Of all the small shop custom fly rod builders that I keep up with, I think Matt might have the most space. Most of the fellows are building in spaces much smaller and some say they have little more than a closet to do their work. This is an impressive layout and it would be fun to spend an afternoon watching Matt work.
The latest build to leave Leiderman Rods is a green blank Ijuin-Rod 7'3" four weight that is beyond elegant and really shows off Matt's skills on several different levels.
Check out the Leiderman Rods website for more information and follow along on Facebook as well since Matt updates that page with the latest build photos and shop news.
