6 Good Reads

It's Friday morning and I'm scrambling to get to work on time.  Here's a six pack of online articles that perked my interest over the last week or so.

ANGLERS JOURNAL -  THE GOSPEL ACCORDING TO JIM
This is a great piece by Chris Dombrowski on a few days with writer Jim Harrison.  Enjoy.

FLYMEN FISHING COMPANY - AUSTIN'S 10 TIPS
Photographer Austin Green from The Uncommon Angler (along with some help from photographer Bryan Gregson) put together a checklist of ways to improve your photography on the water.

TOSH BROWN STILL SUCKS
Maybe I shouldn't be so angry that Mr. Tosh Brown gets to travel better than I do.  Here, he goes to the Seychelles.  Damn him.  Nope.  Not over it yet.

CANOE & KAYAK MAGAZINE - DARREN BUSH ON FIRES
I guess it's kind of hipster to be into bushcraft but maybe not so much so when you actually use what you learn.  Darren Bush gives the 1-2-3 on starting fires.  I'm taking the matches away from the children next time.

TROUTBUS DOING GOOD GOOD WORK
The van keeps rolling and Gabe Parr continues to do great work.  Most recently he's been helping start a fly fishing club.

LOON OUTDOORS - REMNANT OF FALL
Photographer Patrick Lipsker takes over the Loon Outdoors Journal with a photo essay and narrative worth checking out.

What have you been reading this week?
