In the coming weeks, you're going to hear (screaming in the trees) and see (huge winged bugs everywhere) a lot about Brood XIII and Brood XIX as these cicada broods will soon emerge and should possibly overlap in some areas. Think about a flying Big Mac, and millions of them, for fish and birds everywhere in their emergence path.
I have a few cicada posts in the works and photographer Chris Parsons of Tin Crown archival pigment print is a good start. Such a cool capture on film.

These cicada prints are available on the Tin Crown website in sizes 11X14, 16X20, and 24X30. All pigment prints are on matte paper from an scan of the original 4X5 tintype.
Look back at two previous T.F.M. posts which highlighted Chris's work HERE and HERE.
