For the past couple of years, rod maker Yasuyuki Kabuto of Kabuto Rods, has offered up a special limited edition run of ten fly rods. Deposits for the 2022 Limited Edition Model 79345 are being taken now and at last check, there were four fly rods still available.
The Kabuto Rods Model 79345 is a 5-piece 7'9" 3/4 weight which has me itching for pulling the trigger on another fly rod even though I don't need it. There's a reason why Kab's fly rods are so well thought of and I'm sure this model is no exception.
Someone (several of you) please get your deposits in so I can stop thinking about this fly rod...
If you're not interested in the 2022 Limited Edition fly rods, Kabuto Rods is also taking orders for their fiberglass blanks that show delivery in December.
